  • Versie 5.4.2 van AnyDesk voor Windows is uitgekomen. Met dit programma, dat door oud-medewerkers van TeamViewer wordt ontwikkeld, kan een andere computer worden overgenomen om deze zo op afstand.
  • Under certain conditions, connections to a machine failed with 'deskrtipcerror'. This occured when AnyDesk was not installed. Added a workaround for these machines. AnyDesk now uses the monitor which is currently displaying the AnyDesk window when going to fullscreen mode. AnyDesk is now scaled correctly with high dpi settings.

Installation

Note:

There are currently two installation modes for AnyDesk for macOS, A) a full installation and B) a portable installation: A) The full installation installs both the AnyDesk client as well as the AnyDesk Services which is required to use features such as being able to connect to the macOS AnyDesk client while the user account has been switched or logged out of. A service status page would be nice, even with an uncertain future for while. I don't use AnyDesk so often, as I just need to occasionally access a computer in my another home, but what I found is that the main window (the popup connection window) may hang sometimes, for example, if I drag the window, then something goes bad and I am unable to connect again (and then I need to ask a family.

AnyDesk is available for macOS 10.11. or later.
